The International Year of Glass celebrations has been launched at a two days gala event in Geneva, at the UN Palace of Nations

The International Organizing Committee (OC) of IYOG has been followed by thousands of attendants. Further than the 140 in person attendants, the sessions were followed by 3100 online participants from 62 countries on February 10th and 4210 from 72 countries on 11th.
