The International Year of Glass - Hungary program series begins with the opening of the Common Space / 2nd National Salon of Applied Arts and Design 2022 exhibition. The Salon, which will be held in the imposing building of the Kunsthalle (Műcsarnok) will offer the most beautiful, worthy venues and events of the Hungarian programs of the International Year of Glass for almost half a year. The exhibition, which runs from April to September, will focus on Hungarian glass art: the exhibition will provide a comprehensive insight into the world of the innovative creators of Hungarian glass in the historical exhibition section, from where we can step into the world of contemporary glass artists. On the side of the Műcsarnok facing Dózsa György út, a mobile hot shop will be set up which awaits those interested from 24 June 2022, the evening of the Night of Museums, with illustrative glass making workshops.
