In 1996, teachers and students, young artists moving in the same direction through common creation and shared work, founded the Hungarian Glass Art Society. Time and cohesion, and respect and love for glass have formed the Society’s artists into a closely cooperating team that today, with almost 100 artists, represents Hungarian glass art around the world. The young talents trained by the teachers of the past are now instructing the young artists of the future. Through the members’ creativity and passion countless techniques from molten glass to cold working have been shaped in a huge variety of expressive forms both in the past and present. Successes at home and abroad have followed them on their journey in this special, unique world.
